The position provides general mechanical support and technical assurance to the onshore and offshore operations in line with company policy and applicable legislation, with individual responsibility for Rotating Machinery.

Purpose:

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Review Execution Contractor’s QA/QC Organization to verify its adequacy and effectiveness to address all quality issues.
Review records of internal and external Audits performed by the Execution Contractor.
Review Inspection and Test Plans to verify that Execution Contractor is performing all required inspections and witnessing all required tests and add witness and hold points for Inspection.
Review inspection reports and records of Quality Control carried out by Execution Contractor.
Assess adequacy and competence of Execution Contractor Quality Organization at the Barge Construction and Assembly Site to assure that the applicable quality standards are achieved.
Arrange and manage QC Activities at Execution Contractor’s site overseeing Execution Contractor’s QC activity and performing direct interventions.
Ensure that QC Coverage is sufficient and that the Inspectors are of the required discipline.
Review Inspectors deliverables, analyse and resolve issues and problems emerging during the QA/QC activity.
Review and approve Contractors Quality Documentation.
Collect and approve all QA/QC Documentation for a structured handover to Commissioning team.
